The International Symposium on Open Collaboration (OpenSym, formerly WikiSym) was an annual conference series dedicated to open collaboration research and practice. It ended in 2022.

OpenSym’s fiscal sponsor is the U.S.-based 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit organization The John Ernest Foundation. Any donations to OpenSym are therefore tax deductible under U.S. tax law.

From the start of the conference series, the ACM has been a sponsor and supporter of OpenSym, and the conference proceedings are being archived in the ACM Digital Library as well as on this website.
