Posters

Each year, our Posters session create an informal market for socialising ideas among participants.

Posters enable attendees to concisely present works best communicated visually and supported by conversation. Since inception in 2005, WikiSym's lively poster sessions have assisted conference attendees in getting their message across and give them a venue at which they can collect responses from peers and other sectors of industry.

The posters session is a quick way for presenters to find attendees most interested in a topic, to get solid feedback and create new contacts. In turn, Poster afford the general audience to establish who else is attending, and what their interests are and how their expertise fits. Posters are shown on the first day so you'll know who to talk through for the stay of the conference.

Poster Topics

Posters at WikiSym reflect the backgrounds of attendees, so are a great way to scan the breadth of experience of our audience. Examples:

  • Meet PhD students presenting original research
  • Interview managers responsible for corporate-rollouts
  • Consult with Change Transformation agents and specialised Wiki Consultants
  • A technology engineered to work with Wikis, e.g. a wiki-translation engine
